An accessory to models of ships in 1:350 scale: the SC-1 shipboard aircraft, according to the name in two sets in one package.
Responsibility details are not available.
The designation SC-1 belongs to an American shipboard reconnaissance aircraft from the end of the Second World War. It took off from a catapult on the deck of a cruiser or a battleship, and once the task was done it alighted on the water beside its mother ship and a crane hoisted it back aboard. Its job was to patrol, to search out targets, to direct the fire of the ship's artillery and to look for downed crews at sea.
In 1:350 scale the aircraft is a small thing the size of a fingernail, and yet it decides the look of the stern. An empty catapult makes it seem as though the ship had put to sea unfinished; an aircraft on it, by contrast, is one of the first places the eye heads for on a finished model. According to the name there are two sets in the package, so you can equip a ship with two catapults as well, or keep a spare in case the small part gets lost. The exact extent of the set is stated by the manufacturer's instructions.
An accessory to the build is supplied. The model of the ship, paints and glue are not part of the delivery unless stated otherwise.
