Responsibility details are not available.
A small but handy accessory from the Czech brand MH models: a mask intended for painting the frames of the cockpit canopy of the P-51D fighter. The bubble canopy of the Mustang is a single piece and strongly curved, so its thin frames are very hard to go around with a brush; a template cuts the airbrush work down to a few minutes and the result looks professional. The mask is cut for the Kovozavody Prostejov kit.
The North American P-51D Mustang belongs among the most famous fighters of all time. The bubble canopy with no frame structure behind the pilot's back gave excellent visibility, while the engine with its licensed Merlin gave performance at high altitude. Mustangs escorted formations of American bombers deep over Germany, and after the war they served all over the world, including with air forces that acquired them secondhand.
First polish the clear part and, if need be, dip it in a gloss varnish so that the frames are distinct. Settle the mask along the outline, burnish it down thoroughly and spray the frames first in the interior color and then in the camouflage shade. Pull it off slowly so that the fragile part does not crack.
