This is a decal set from DP Casper in 1:72 scale. It is not an aircraft model but a set of wet waterslide decals with the markings and camouflage schemes of military aircraft from the period of the Vietnam War. The decals serve to mark models you build from kits of your own; in subject they cover several types of machine deployed in that conflict, so a whole series of aircraft from one theater can be created from one set.
The air war over Vietnam brought modern jet machines with differing camouflage and tactical markings up against one another. Period camouflage and national insignia are exactly what place a model in a particular time and unit, so decals are a key part of a faithful build.
Give the model a coat of gloss varnish first, so that the decal has no silvering air bubbles under its edge. Cut the decal out, dip it in lukewarm water for a few seconds, slide it onto the surface and settle it; press the surplus water out gently. Use a softener to get it down into the engraved lines and finally go over everything with matte or semi-gloss varnish.
A decal set, not a model. Kits, paints and varnishes are not included in the package.
