Colored 3D elements of the interior from Kelik for the two-seat F-15D in 1:72 scale. The set is adapted to the kit from Finemolds and replaces painting a cockpit by hand.
Responsibility details are not available.
The F-15D is the two-seat version of the F-15 Eagle fighter. The second seat sits in tandem behind the pilot and serves for training, so the cockpit is longer and a modeler has two instrument panels, two seats and a pair of side consoles in it. Drawing all the dials and lettering out by hand is lengthy work in 1:72 scale, and it is precisely that which this extra shortens.
Colored 3D elements of the interior for the kit from the firm Finemolds. The list of the elements and their placement in the cockpit is given by the instructions enclosed with the set.
The procedure for application differs between the individual ranges, so go by the manufacturer's instructions enclosed with the set before application. The elements are small in this scale, so work with sharp tweezers and good light. Wash and degrease the surfaces in the cockpit before fitting the elements and let them dry perfectly. Lay an element on by one edge first and only then settle it whole, so that it does not bunch up.
The set suits a modeler who is building the F-15D with the cockpit canopy slid back and wants the interior to hold up even in a detailed photograph. Even a beginner who has got used to working with tweezers will manage it. In the package there are the elements of the interior given; the kit, the paints and the glue are not part of it, unless stated otherwise.
