Turned imitations of hexagonal bolt heads measuring 1.34 x 1.60 mm, 30 pieces in the package. A replacement for the soft shapes of fasteners on a model.
Responsibility details are not available.
Bolts and nuts are among the details that give away the scale of a model at once. Molded or sanded heads tend to be rounded and blurred, whereas a turned part has sharp hexagon edges and a regular outline all the way round. That is exactly what shows from close up in a photograph and under a magnifier, because light breaks differently on a sharp edge than on a rounded shape.
Thirty turned imitations of hexagonal heads measuring 1.34 x 1.60 mm. The size is given in millimeters, so you can easily check against the scale of your model how large a fastener on the real thing it corresponds to. The set is not tied to one kit; you will use it anywhere the surface lacks convincing bolt heads.
First cut the original shape off the model carefully with a sharp blade and level the area with a fine abrasive. Set the new part into a pre-drilled hole, or glue it straight onto the surface with cyanoacrylate glue applied in a tiny amount, ideally on the tip of a wire. The parts are small, so work with tweezers over a tray with a raised rim, and wash and degrease the surface before painting so that the paint holds.
For modelers who are fine-tuning the surface of equipment, engines or chassis and want their fasteners sharp. Glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
