The second part of the decal series 1:144 312 Squadron RAF, Part II from AML Decals brings markings for further machines of this Czechoslovak fighter squadron in British service.
Responsibility details are not available.
A follow-on decal sheet from AML Decals. It is intended for marking a model of an aircraft that carries the colors of No. 312 Squadron RAF. A kit is not included; you are buying the markings alone.
No. 312 Squadron was one of the Czechoslovak fighter units of the Royal Air Force. The appearance of its machines changed during the war; they looked one way in the first years of the war and another by the end of the fighting. The parts of the series follow on from one another, so the second part offers a different selection from the first.
First go over the model with a gloss varnish, so that the surface does not stay porous. Soak the decal separately from the others; after a moment it comes free of the paper backing and can be slid into place. In 1:144 scale it is better to work with a damp brush than with tweezers, because tweezers easily crumple a small motif. Apply the softener in a thin layer and then do not move the decal any more. Before you start on the next motif, wait until the previous one has dried, otherwise you can easily shift the neighboring artwork with a sleeve or a brush.
The set serves to finish a model. You will not find glue, paints or varnish in the package.
