A decal sheet from AML Decals with the markings of the machines of No. 312 Squadron RAF. It is the sixth part of the numbered group of sheets that the brand has devoted to this subject. The set is sold on its own and is not supplied with a model.
The 1:144 scale is popular precisely among collectors, because even an extensive collection fits into a single display case. Six sheets for one squadron thus give the chance to build a whole group of machines without the markings repeating. Which selection of machines belongs to this part is shown by the illustration on the packaging.
Prepare a shallow dish of warm water, a soft flat brush and absorbent paper. Hold the decal under water only briefly; long soaking washes the adhesive out of it and it then will not hold on the model. Before you start work, try the procedure out in a less conspicuous place, for instance on the underside of a wing. Work in good light and without hurrying; a motif the size of a pinhead is hard to find on a workbench. Let the finished markings settle overnight and only then varnish the model.
The contents of the package are the decal sheet alone, without further accessories.
