This set of decals in 1:144 scale is devoted to the Soviet Lavochkin La-5FN fighters committed in connection with the Slovak National Uprising of 1944 and to machines linked with Czechoslovak pilots. The digitally printed waterslide decals with sharp printing make it possible to build historically interesting machines with a strong tie to our own history. It is the first part of the series.
The Lavochkin La-5FN was a Soviet fighter with a radial engine that was among the best machines of its category on the Eastern Front. With the FN variant, fitted with a supercharged engine, it gained very good performance at lower altitudes. Aircraft of this type also appeared in connection with the Slovak National Uprising in 1944.
In 1:144 scale, work with the tiny decals using tweezers and a soft brush. Coat the base with gloss varnish, move the decal into place once it has soaked and squeeze the excess water out. A softener will help it seat perfectly, and matte varnish will unify the look.
This is a set of decals on its own. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
