The sheet 1:144 Hawker Hurricane Mk.IIb and Supermarine Spitfire Mk.I Czechoslovak commanders in RAF part II from AML Decals offers the markings of machines of two different types tied to the command posts held by Czechoslovak airmen.
Responsibility details are not available.
A decal set of the brand AML Decals, the second part of a series focused on Czechoslovak commanders in the Royal Air Force. The sheet joins the markings for the Hawker Hurricane Mk.IIb and the Supermarine Spitfire Mk.I. It is an accessory for models, not a kit.
The Hurricane Mk.IIb followed on from the first version with a more powerful engine and extended armament in the wing. The Spitfire Mk.I, by contrast, was the earliest production form of the famous fighter, with an elliptical wing and a light all-metal construction. Both types served in the Royal Air Force at a time when airmen from the Czech lands were also rising to command positions.
Because the sheet covers two different types, think ahead about which model you are going to build and find the markings for it on the sheet before soaking anything. Both types have smooth metal surfaces with fine engraving, so the decals settle easily. The surface underneath, however, really must be glossy, or the small codes will silver. Once dry, even the sheen of the whole airframe out, whether in a flat or a satin degree, depending on how worn you want the machine to look.
What is included is the sheet with the markings only. The models and paints are bought separately.
