A decal sheet for the Hawker Hurricane Mk.I in 1:32 scale with the markings of the machines of No. 310 Squadron RAF, part one.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Hawker Hurricane Mk.I stood at the beginning of the British fighter defense: its fuselage was built on a tube frame and covered with fabric at the rear, and under the cowling worked the liquid-cooled Merlin V12 engine. It was on this type that No. 310 Squadron RAF began, the first of the Czechoslovak fighter squadrons in the RAF.
This is the first part devoted to this squadron in 1:32 scale. The large scale suits printing: a decal is big enough for even small lettering to be legible on it, and at the same time it handles well. Which machines and combinations of code letters the sheet covers, and which kit it is cut for, are given in the enclosed instructions.
Varnish the base to a gloss, cut the element out and soak it for a few seconds. Slide it off the paper onto the model, settle it with a brush and blot off the excess water. With large elements work from the center toward the edges, so that no air is left under the film. A softener will help the decal settle onto the fabric covering and the panel lines, and the final varnish will hide the edge.
For builders in large scales with an interest in the Czechoslovak airmen in the RAF. It will be appreciated by collectors too, who want a documented identity for the machine on their model. The kit, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
