This set of waterslide decals in 1:48 scale brings the markings of Supermarine Spitfire Mk.Vb fighters on which Czechoslovak pilots served with No. 65 Squadron RAF. The set is meant for models of the Spitfire Mk.Vb, and the kit itself is not included in the package.
The Spitfire Mk.Vb was one of the most widespread versions of the legendary British fighter, armed with two 20 mm cannons and four machine guns. Czechoslovak airmen passed through a number of RAF squadrons, and their machines carry the standard British camouflage scheme with national insignia and personal or unit markings, which makes them an attractive subject for a modeler.
Apply the decals over a smooth gloss varnish, treat them with a softener so that they settle into the details of the surface, and finally give the set a coat of flat or semi-gloss clear varnish. Consider trying them out on a test surface before applying them.
