Peewit 1:72 P-51D-5 Mustang: painting masks

A set of self-adhesive painting masks in 1:72 scale from Peewit. They mask the canopy glazing precisely, and usually the other clear parts or the wheels as well, while paint is sprayed, so the canopy frames stay clean and sharp. The masks are intended for models of the P-51D Mustang fighter. This is not a kit and not a paint but an aid for painting.

Use

• Lift the masks off the sheet carefully, for example with pointed tweezers.
• Stick them onto the glazing exactly along the shape of the frames and press the edges down well.
• Spray the paint, preferably in thin coats so that it does not run under the mask.
• Peel the masks off once the paint has dried; clean frames and clear areas are revealed.

Who the set is for

For modelers who want perfectly sprayed canopy frames without laborious hand brushwork. Suitable for less experienced builders too, because the masks make the job much simpler.

The masks are an accessory to a model. The model and paints are not included in the package.
