A set of self-adhesive, precisely cut painting masks from SX-Art in 1:48 scale, intended for the B-25J Mitchell bomber with the glazed nose. They come in a double-sided form, so they cover the framing of the glazing from the outside and the inside, and the frames stay clean when seen from either side.
The North American B-25 Mitchell was a twin-engine American medium bomber used in the Second World War. The B-25J Glazed Nose version had an extensive glazed nose with a bombardier's station; its many frames make masking demanding, particularly if the modeler wants to paint the inner faces of the glazing.
Stick the inner masks down before the fuselage is closed up, the outer ones only on finished glazing. Press the masks down carefully all the way around and spray thin coats of paint. The crispest edges come from an airbrush; lift the masks off carefully once the paint has dried.
