The motifs are printed in relief and in color and are applied on decal backing paper, so they are worked with just like ordinary markings. According to the name, this is the smaller variant of the set. The model is supplied separately; these goods are only an accessory to it.

The Japanese branch of the Starfighter

The F-104J was an interceptor of the Japan Air Self-Defense Force, built under license in Japan. It served as a day interceptor at a time when Japan was building a modern air defense system, and it became one of the first supersonic types introduced into its armament. The cockpit differed in small things from the American and the European versions, which makes it a subject in its own right for modelers.

What to keep in mind while working

Reach for soft water without limescale, because deposits leave a whitish film on the color print. Do not add decal softener at all, it will attack the printed resin. Seat the parts in order from the largest surfaces to the small items and leave a short pause between the individual pieces for drying. The set is cut for the Italeri kit; before you buy it, compare the shape of the cockpit tub and the instrument panel of your model.
