1:48 A-10C, a 3D interior decal (Quinta Studio)

This is a set of 3D decals for rendering the cockpit of the A-10C Thunderbolt II attack aircraft in 1:48 scale. It is NOT a kit and NOT etch: they are colored, three-dimensional raised details printed on a decal backing paper that are applied as a wet decal. They have no adhesive layer of their own and hold on a gloss varnish. This small version concentrates on the main elements of the pilot's compartment. The decals are shaped for the parts of the GWH kit.

What the set contains

Colored 3D decals of the instrument panel and the side consoles with legible dials, switches and labels. The details are pre-printed, so laborious masking and painting of individual dials by hand is unnecessary.

Use

• Cut the part out, dip it in lukewarm water for about fifteen seconds and slide it off the backing paper like a classic decal.
• Apply it to a clean, smooth surface of the interior parts coated with gloss varnish, on which the element holds; the pliable element conforms to the shape.
• Allow drying time and press it gently into the recesses; do not use a decal softener or a setting solution at all, as they would attack the printed resin.
