The Mil Mi-4 is a Soviet transport helicopter of the fifties. The bulky fuselage with a cargo compartment, the pilot's cabin set high above the engine and the sturdy four-wheel undercarriage made it a universal machine for carrying people as well as materiel. It was built in large numbers and reached many users outside the Soviet Union, among them Finnish service.

The base under the decals has to be smooth and glossy, or a milky haze will appear under the carrier film. Cut the motif off as closely as possible, immerse it for a few seconds in lukewarm water and set it aside until it will slide off the paper. Seat it with a brush, draw the surplus water out with absorbent paper and use a softener over riveting and pressings. Then spray the finished surface with matte or semi-gloss clear.
The sheet suits modelers who build helicopters in small scales and are looking for a less usual user of a well known Soviet type. The kit, paints, clear coats and softener are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
