A sheet of wet decals from the Mark I brand carries the national insignia of the Republic of China Air Force, that is of Taiwan. It is not tied to one type of aircraft, so you will use it on any model in 1:72 scale to which you want to give these markings.
The Republic of China Air Force uses as its national marking a blue disc with a white twelve-pointed sun, a motif taken from the state symbolism. In its basic shape it has held for many decades, from propeller types through the fighters of the fifties to today's supersonic aircraft. It is precisely with universal sheets that it comes in handy to keep a supply at home, because markings bought once will serve on several builds in a row. Universal sheets of this type also help when the decals supplied in a kit have yellowed or fallen apart with age.
Circular markings reveal every unevenness, so prepare a smooth glossy base under them. Leave a decal in the water only long enough for it to release from the paper, and slide it into place without pulling. Verify the symmetry on the wing against the engraved lines while the film can still be moved. If a marking runs over a sharp edge, nick the film from the back so that it does not lift anywhere.
