The piece is worked and colored by the manufacturer already, so nothing is done with it: it is stood up and displayed. The real subject is the Skoda Kodiaq in its modernized shape, the form in red, and the size corresponds to the ordinary display scale of 1:43. Plastacek is the name of the edition this group of colors belongs to.
After five years of production the car went through a reworking that showed mainly on the front end. The radiator grille narrowed and grew taller, the headlamps received a sharper shape and the range was extended by new patterns of alloy wheels. At the rear the graphics of the lamps changed. The body itself stayed, so the modernized version is recognized above all from the front view; seen in profile the two shapes are very similar. Since its introduction the Kodiaq has presented itself as a roomy family car with the possibility of a third row of seats.
Red is rewarding with miniatures: it does not merge with the background and stands up well even to weaker lighting of a display case. At the same time it holds that on a glossy red area every trace left by fingers is visible, so it is sensible to take the car from underneath. If you are putting a whole color group together, a red piece suits being placed in the middle, where it works as the center of gravity of the whole row.
