Ural-43206 is a kit of a two-axle off-road truck in 1:43 scale from the maker AVD Models.
Responsibility details are not available.
An assembly model of the Ural-43206, the shorter two-axle member of the family of Ural off-road trucks. That very difference is what makes the model interesting in a collection: beside its three-axle siblings it is short and compact, and it is immediately clear that this is a different layout. 1:43 scale matches ordinary collector car models, so the finished vehicle can be displayed together with them.
The Ural-43206 is a two-axle form derived from the three-axle 4320 line. It shares the cab and the design solutions with it, but with a single driven axle at the rear it is shorter and more maneuverable. Vehicles of this layout were used where the full length would not fit or where there was no need to carry the maximum load, but the ability to get through soft and broken terrain remained a requirement. High ground clearance and a sturdy frame belong to the family just as they do on the longer versions.
A short vehicle forgives fewer errors of geometry, because any unevenness shows at once over a small length. Glue the frame on a flat surface, then, and check the chassis against the light before you add the wheels. The cab and the bed paint better separately. If you build the model in a civilian form, go for a more saturated body shade and a dark chassis; for a military form, go instead for a uniform matte coat with restrained dust. The sharp edges of the fenders and the bumper can be brought out gently with a dry brush.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
