1:48 double-sided glazing mask for the Gloster Meteor F.8 (Art Scale) for masking the outside and the inside of the canopy frames.
Responsibility details are not available.
A precisely pre-cut self-adhesive masking set in Japanese kabuki tape for a model of the Gloster Meteor F.8 in 1:48 scale. The double-sided (TFace) form is prepared for masking from the outside as well as the inside of the glazing, so the shade of the interior frames can be separated from the exterior. The parts are numbered and come with instructions for placement.
The Gloster Meteor was the first British jet fighter and the only Allied jet aircraft used in the Second World War. The F.8 version was the main day fighter variant of the postwar period, with a lengthened fuselage, a new canopy and an ejection seat. For a long time it formed the backbone of the fighter force of the RAF and of other countries.
Degrease the glazing. Use the inner parts when painting the frames as seen from the interior and the outer parts afterwards for the final camouflage. Lift the mask with tweezers, lay it according to the numbering and press the edges down for a sharp edge. Apply the paint in thin coats so that it does not creep under the tape.
This is a masking aid, not a paint and not a kit. Paints and glue are not included in the package.
