The motif of the forward lift platform of the Imperial carrier is carried by the 1:72 IJN Zuikaku 1944 Front lift base, intended for a single model.
Responsibility details are not available.
The subject is the forward lift platform of the carrier Zuikaku in the form the name places in 1944. Against the sister base with a continuous deck it offers a tighter scene, suited to a single model. The artwork is intended for 1:72 scale.
The Zuikaku was the second unit of the Shokaku class, that is of the ships the Imperial Japanese Navy regarded as the peak of its prewar carrier construction. They combined decent speed, a large air group and good resilience, which placed them among the most capable vessels of their kind. The Zuikaku served practically throughout the Pacific war and her career ended in October 1944.
The lift platform is an area smaller than a whole deck, so place the model so that it does not overhang the edge of the artwork. When you stand the machine turned slightly, the scene loses its starkness and photographs better. It is a good idea to leave a clear strip around the model into which small accessories can later fit. A tight scene has the advantage that the viewer's attention does not wander to the edges and concentrates on the machine itself. If you display several bases side by side, alternate areas of different sizes; the whole then does not read as monotonous.
What is on offer is the base itself, not the models you will display on it.
