A set of color self-adhesive 3D decals for a detailed rendering of the cockpit of the Academy model of the MiG-29AS fighter in 1:48 scale. The decals are printed on a flexible film with real depth and they replace the demanding painting of small dials. The set as a rule covers the instrument panel, the side panels, the consoles and the seat belts.
The MiG-29 is a Soviet twin-engined fourth-generation frontline fighter. The AS designation belongs to the Slovak modernized version adapted for operations within NATO, with added Western avionics, communications and navigation. The cockpit therefore combines the original Eastern layout with elements of the modernization.
First degrease the surface. Cut the individual elements out, lift them off the carrier layer and transfer them into place with tweezers, then press them down. The film takes a slight forming over curved surfaces. The fine dials need no further painting.
The set contains the interior decals only. The model itself, paints and glue are not included in the package.
