3D decals for the cabin of the F-86A Sabre in 1:48

Supplementary goods for builders who want the inside dealt with quickly and convincingly all the same. Elements with a raised effect are fitted onto the parts of the cabin and save the brushwork that the small instrument surfaces would otherwise call for. The set is designed for the parts of the ClearProp kit.

The first production Sabre

The A model represents the early form of this swept-wing fighter, that is the one the type entered service with still before its deployment in Korea. It differs from the later versions in details of the cabin and of the armament, so the interior equipment is not interchangeable with later machines. That is precisely why the sets for the individual models are prepared separately and it pays off to take care which of them you are ordering.

What to think of in advance

• Choose the base shade of the cabin before you start with the fitting.
• Do not try to place the elements while the ground is not dry.
• Once laid, push them carefully into all the recesses.
• Close the fuselage up only after the whole inside is finished.
• Do not hurry, the elements hold firmly and a later correction tends to be difficult.

Whom the set will fit

It suits modelers with an interest in the beginnings of jet aviation who build with the canopy swung open. It will appeal also to those who have a whole series of early fighters under way and want the inside done comparably on all of them. The kit, the paints and the glue are not sold with this item.
