Responsibility details are not available.
A set of accurately cut masking stencils in fine Japanese kabuki tape from New Ware. The Basic version covers the basic masking of a kit of the A-10 attack aircraft in 1:48 scale and suits the A and C versions alike. The masks hold a crisp edge, follow the rounded canopy well and leave no adhesive residue once peeled off.
The Fairchild Republic A-10 Thunderbolt II is an American attack aircraft intended for the direct support of ground units. It is characterized by two jet engines above the rear fuselage, twin vertical tail surfaces, a prominent cannon in the nose and a one-piece bubble canopy with an excellent view. The A-10C version is an upgrade of the original A-10A with digitized avionics; the external shapes, and therefore the areas to be masked, remain practically identical.
Move the stencils with tweezers, smooth them on the canopy from the center toward the edges and press the edges down. Spray thin coats - first the interior shade of the frame, then the outer color. Peel the masks off gently once the last coat has dried, and the edges will stay crisp.
This is a masking accessory - the aircraft kit itself is not included in the package.
