1:48 A-10A/C Thunderbolt II, double-sided canopy stencils (Hobby Boss) contain shapes for the outside and for the inner side of the cockpit glazing.
Responsibility details are not available.
A double set of shapes for the canopy frames: one part goes on the outside, the other on the inner side of the glass. The dimensions fit the cockpit of the Hobby Boss kit mentioned in the name, and the scale is 1:48.
The designations A-10A and A-10C do not refer to two different airframes but to two generations of equipment. The older form had dial instruments and a gunsight on the windscreen. The upgrade brought color displays, controls concentrated on the throttle and the stick, digital management of the external stores and the ability to work with guided munitions. From outside the two forms differ only in details of antennas and lettering, but inside it is another world, and that is why it pays to give the cockpit some time.
First cover the reverse side and spray the shade of the interior, and only then glue the part into the fuselage and lay the face shapes on. Anyone who reverses the order will reach the inner side only with difficulty. Apply the finish in several light mists, so that no step forms at the edge which would catch the eye once uncovered. If you need to glue the glazing in earlier, allow for the inner pieces having to be introduced with tweezers through a narrow opening and the result not being as clean. Soft light from the side also serves well, as it reveals places where a piece has not seated.
