The A-10C Thunderbolt II is a single-seat subsonic attack aircraft of American manufacture, built around its gun armament and intended to support ground troops. Power comes from two turbofan engines mounted high on the sides of the rear fuselage, and the airframe is built for toughness and low speed. The letter C denotes the upgraded form with digital cockpit equipment, which differs from the older machines mainly in the screens and control panels in the pilot's station. It is exactly that station which is most visible on a model, and photo-etched and printed accessories take it furthest.
Cut the photo-etched parts off the fret with a sharp knife on a hard surface, make the bends in a bender or between two blades and glue with cyanoacrylate glue or a micro glue. The plastic originals that the photo-etched parts replace have to be removed and the area sanded. Parts printed in color are not painted over, while for the unpainted ones expect degreasing and a base coat. Work in small assemblies, so that the parts do not get glued on crooked.
It is an accessory for a kit, not a model of the aircraft. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
