This is a refinement accessory for the cockpit, not a kit. Quinta Studio makes raised color 3D decals: layered, three-dimensional and pre-colored decals that bring faithful instrument panels, multifunction displays and side panels into an interior. This set is developed for the plastic model of the A-10C Thunderbolt II ground-attack aircraft in 1:48 scale from the maker Academy; without the matching base kit it cannot be used.
The 3D decals are applied much like wet decals, or they are cut out and stuck straight onto the interior parts. The layered build gives the surfaces depth and a three-dimensional look without laborious hand painting. The surface will take light toning and a darkening of the panel lines.
This is an accessory for the cockpit, not a model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
