3D-printed color interior decals for the A-10C in 1:48 scale in the small version of the set. They are cut for the Academy kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
A decal printed in color with three-dimensional relief, printed on decal paper. It is applied like a classic waterslide decal, but the surface has raised edges, so the instruments, the buttons and the controls cast a shadow and do not look like a painted surface. This is the small version of the set, that is, a narrower extent than the full variant of the same number. The set is cut for the A-10C kit from the firm Academy in 1:48 scale.
The A-10C is a single-seat ground-attack aircraft with a pair of engines in nacelles on either side of the rear fuselage. Against the older machines of the A series it has a digitized cockpit with screens and new control panels, so the instrument panel looks different from the earlier versions. That is exactly why with interior sets you have to watch whether they match the version you are building.
A smooth, clean base is the foundation of success. Rid the plastic parts of flash, spray on the dark interior color and go over it with gloss varnish. The relief standing out on the plastic under the future decal is often left alone, but on strongly shaped parts it pays to level it, so that the decal seats over its whole area. Then soak the decal, slide it off, set it in place with tweezers and press it down with a cotton swab. Do not use a decal softener or a decal fixer, as they attack the printed resin and spoil the element.
