A colored photo-etched set from the Czech maker Eduard in 1:48 scale for detailed improvement of a model. It is not an aircraft kit but an accessory: fine metal parts, some of them printed in color in advance and self-adhesive. It focuses above all on the cockpit, the instrument panels and other small details that come out flat in plastic.
The Douglas A-1 Skyraider was an American single-engine piston carrier attack aircraft. The A-1J version was a late single-seat form with a powerful radial engine and an exceptional weapons load. The Skyraiders became famous for their endurance over the battlefield during the conflict in Southeast Asia.
Lay the self-adhesive colored parts onto cleaned and degreased plastic and glue the other photo-etched parts with super glue. Make the bends against a polished edge so that the lines stay accurate. Dry-fit the parts first.
This is a photo-etched accessory, not a model. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
