An Eduard photo-etched set focused on the interior of the plastic model of the Douglas A-26C Invader in 1:48 scale. It is not a model but an accessory made of thin etched sheet, which faithfully replaces and completes the fittings of the cabin and the pilot's station. The color-printed parts are ready for immediate use.
The Douglas A-26 Invader was an American twin-engine attack and light bomber from the end of the Second World War. The A-26C version was marked by a glazed nose with a navigator-bombardier. Fast and tough, the machine served long after the war, among other places in Korea and in Vietnam.
The photo-etched parts refine the instrument panels, the side consoles, the seats, the belts and other interior features that are only suggested in plastic. The parts are separated with a sharp knife and bonded with super glue, and the colored areas are not painted over.
This is an add-on photo-etched set, not a complete model. The base kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
