Eduard masks A-4E/F 1:48 is a die-cut self-adhesive masking set for the model of the American A-4E/F Skyhawk attack aircraft. It gives sharp color divisions on the glazing, the wheels and the camouflage. It is not a model but a masking aid.
Responsibility details are not available.
This die-cut self-adhesive Eduard masking set in 1:48 scale is meant for the plastic model of the American A-4 Skyhawk carrier attack aircraft in the E and F versions. It is neither a kit nor a model of its own but a set of precisely shaped masks in thin yellow masking tape (kabuki). The masks will be appreciated by modelers who want sharp color divisions on the glazing, the wheels and the camouflage fields without lengthy cutting of tape by hand.
The Douglas A-4 Skyhawk is an American carrier-based light attack aircraft with a characteristic delta wing. It became famous for its compact size, its simplicity and its long service career with the Navy and the Marine Corps. The E and F versions are among the most widely used and carried extended avionics; the F version is recognizable by the dorsal hump with additional equipment.
Degrease the glazing of the teardrop canopy. Lift the masks off the backing and lay them on the frame of the windscreen and of the sliding section, pressing them into the edges. Spray the paint with an airbrush in thin coats. The wheel masks separate the tire from the hub. Once the paint has dried, peel the masks off carefully at a sharp angle.
The package contains masks only. The model, paints, glue and decals are not included, unless stated otherwise.
