The Skyhawk in the E, F, H and K versions in 1:48 scale, glazing masks are shaped for the canopy of the later machines and deal with the face and the reverse of the clear parts.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set is cut for the canopy and the windscreen of the Skyhawks of the E, F, H and K lines and covers the glazing from both sides. The particular kit it belongs to is given in the name of the item.
The A-4E version received a more powerful and more efficient engine and two extra pylons, which turned a light attack aircraft into a carrier with a real combat load. The A-4F added a long fairing with electronics above the spine of the fuselage, which the crews called the hump; by it the machine can be recognized in profile at first glance. The letter H is carried by the export form for Israel, adapted according to experience from desert fighting, while the K corresponds to the machines delivered to Australia. Under one airframe there are thus aircraft with very different service, from carrier squadrons through a desert front to training on the other side of the world.
The glazing of the Skyhawk is deeply curved and the frame on it never runs on a flat plane. The set therefore contains separate pieces for the face and the reverse, which have to be fitted one after another: the inner side first, then left to dry and the outer side only at the end. The reward is a frame that has the right shade from both views, and clear panes with no dried mist on the edges.
