The Quinta Studio set offers a colored cockpit interior for the A-4M Skyhawk attack aircraft in its early form, in 1:48 scale. It is not an aircraft model but an interior accessory. The instrument panel, the side consoles, the belts and further detail are 3D printed and printed in full color on backing decal paper with a relief. They are applied as a wet decal.
The Douglas A-4M Skyhawk II was the late and most capable production Skyhawk, operated above all by the Marine Corps. It brought a more powerful engine, a larger cockpit with better visibility and upgraded avionics. Here too a densely equipped cockpit positively asks for colored detail.
Go over the cockpit surfaces with a gloss varnish. Cut the parts out carefully, immerse them in lukewarm water for about fifteen seconds and slide them off the paper into place; they have no adhesive layer of their own and hold on exactly that varnish. Do not use a decal softener or a decal setter, as they attack the printed resin. Finish the interior before the fuselage is closed up.
This is a cockpit accessory, not an aircraft model. The package holds no kit, glue or paints.
