A colored relief 3D decal of the interior of the Grumman A-6E carrier attack aircraft in the TRAM version in 1:48 scale from Quinta Studio. It is not an aircraft model but a cockpit detail accessory for the HobbyBoss plastic kit. The parts are printed in several layers and have three-dimensional relief, so they do not look flat like classic decals.
The A-6E TRAM was a later sub-version of the Intruder fitted with the TRAM system (Target Recognition and Attack Multisensor), a turret under the nose with an infrared sensor and a laser for accurate night and all-weather attacks. The TRAM version differed in its cockpit equipment, which this set matches.
The set replaces the instrument panels, the side consoles and other cockpit features specifically in the TRAM standard. The 3D decals are activated in water and transferred onto the parts of the kit; a decal softener and a setting solution do not belong with them, as they attack the printed resin. They are easier to work with than photo-etched interiors. At the end it is worth unifying the surface with a matte varnish.
This is not an aircraft kit but an accessory for completing one. The base model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
