This is a set of brass photo-etched parts for detailing the exterior of the Vought A-7D Corsair II attack aircraft in 1:48 scale. It is not an aircraft model but an exterior accessory for a plastic kit.
The set brings photo-etched exterior parts for the model of the Vought A-7D Corsair II in 1:48 scale, usually covers, panels, grilles, static dischargers and other fine external features of the airframe. It raises the fidelity of the surface compared with a bare plastic molding.
The Vought A-7D Corsair II was the land-based version of the Corsair II attack aircraft intended for the US Air Force. Compared with the naval versions it had a more powerful engine and a built-in multi-barrel cannon. It was used, among other places, in the final phase of the Vietnam War.
Separate the parts carefully with a sharp knife or with photo-etch scissors, make the bends along the engraved lines, ideally in a bending tool, and glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate) or with epoxy. Degrease the surface before painting; photo-etched parts hold paint better once a primer has been sprayed on.
This is a separate set of photo-etched parts, an accessory, not an aircraft model. The plastic kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
