Responsibility details are not available.
A set of precisely shaped self-adhesive masks in kabuki tape for a model of the A-7 Corsair II ground-attack aircraft in 1:48 scale. The masks make it easy to spray the frames of the glazed cockpit and the wheel rims cleanly without laborious cutting. It is not a kit — it is an accessory used when painting a finished or partly built model.
The Vought A-7 Corsair II is an American subsonic ground-attack aircraft from the era of the Vietnam War. The A-7D version served with the US Air Force, the A-7E with the Navy as a carrier attack machine. It was marked by good range and a large load of bombs and rockets.
The pre-cut masks in self-adhesive kabuki tape are stuck onto the cockpit glazing and the wheel rims, pressed into the engraved lines of the frames with a pointed stick, and then the area is sprayed. Once the paint has dried the tape is taken off and the framing stays clean and sharp. An airbrush gives an even coat; the masks can also be used for two-color camouflage masking.
This is a set of painting masks, not a model. The kit itself, paints and glue are not included in the package and are obtained separately.
