The Aires A5M2 Claude control surfaces 1:48 are a resin add-on set with separate control surfaces for the Japanese carrier fighter.
Responsibility details are not available.
This accessory from the maker Aires is not an airplane model but a set of resin control surfaces for building the Japanese A5M2 Claude carrier fighter in 1:48 scale. It makes it possible to replace the wing and tail surfaces cast in one piece with separate ailerons, an elevator and a rudder, which can be deflected to give the model a livelier, realistic attitude.
The Mitsubishi A5M, given the Allied code name Claude, was a Japanese single-seat carrier fighter of the 1930s. It was an all-metal low-wing monoplane with fixed landing gear and an open cockpit, one of the first modern carrier fighters of its day.
Wash the mold release residue off the resin parts, cut off the casting blocks and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Deflect the fitted surfaces naturally and symmetrically; fill any small gaps and sand them down with respiratory protection.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
