HGW belts and photo-etched set Albatros D.III and D.V in 1:48 scale combine fabric seat belts with add-on photo-etched parts for the cockpit. It is a detail set, not a kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
This combined set from the Czech maker HGW holds realistic seat belts and on top of that a photo-etched fret with add-on parts for models of the German fighter biplanes Albatros D.III and D.V of the First World War in 1:48 scale. This is not a model of the aircraft but an aftermarket cockpit accessory. The belts are laser cut from printed microtextile and completed with photo-etched metal buckles.
The cloth material behaves like real fabric and can be folded naturally. Besides the belts, the set holds photo-etched parts for further detailing of the cockpit. The buckles and the photo-etched parts came about in cooperation with the firm Eduard. The belts are fully workable and stand up to the common non-aggressive modeling products; they take filters and oils.
Take the textile belts out of the sheet, peel the backing paper off and work them between your fingers. Thread the ends through the buckles and fix them with cyanoacrylate. Bend and glue the photo-etched parts as needed, then bring the whole thing out gently with a heavily thinned oil paint.
The accessory is supplied on its own, unpainted. The glue and the paints are not included in the package.
