Eduard 1:48 Ar 234B TFace is a set of pre-cut masks for the glazing of the model, in the TFace version for the outside as well as the inside.
Responsibility details are not available.
This item is neither a kit nor parts, but a set of pre-cut self-adhesive masks made of kabuki tape for a model in 1:48 scale. The TFace designation means that the box holds masks for both sides of the glazing. On this subject that matters: the cockpit has extensive glazing with a great many frames and the surfaces are visible from inside as well as outside, so without an inner mask the frame color would show through the glass. The exact number of masks and whether the set covers further elements are not stated here.
The Arado Ar 234 was a twin-jet aircraft from the end of the Second World War, designed for reconnaissance and bombing duties. The B version had a wheeled undercarriage instead of the jettisonable trolley used on the first prototypes. Technically it was one of the first jet-powered aircraft built in series; from the model building point of view its most conspicuous feature is the fully glazed forward fuselage, which dominates the finished model.
Lift the masks by the edge with tweezers, not with your fingers. Degrease the glazing beforehand. Place the mask in the middle of the area and press it down with a toothpick so that it beds in even in the corners of the frames. Apply the paint in thin coats; a heavy application leaves a step at the edge that shows once the mask is removed. Take the mask off while the paint is dry to the touch, not after it has fully cured, because the edge then stays crisp. On large glazed areas it pays to cover the rest of the model with tape or foil so that paint does not get inside the fuselage.
The set is supplied on its own, without a kit and without paints. Before buying, please check that the masks match your particular kit.
