A set of masks for the glazing of the four-engine version of the Arado jet bomber in 1:48 scale. It matches the Revell kit and contains pieces for both sides of the glazing.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Arado Ar 234 went down in history as the first jet bomber put into action. The production machines of the B series had two engines under the wings, but the designers also tried a variant with four smaller units coupled in pairs. That is exactly what the C series looks like: under each wing hangs a twin nacelle and the machine gains noticeably higher thrust, better behavior on takeoff and higher speed. This form never got into production in larger numbers, the end of the war came sooner, and even so enough documentation has survived for modelers to build it.
A peculiarity of the type is the completely glazed nose. The pilot sat in the middle of a glass tip and had a view forward and downward, which for building a model means, however, that the clear part forms the whole forward section of the fuselage. There are many frames there, they converge to a point and each has a different angle. Lining by hand is the most demanding part of the whole build here.
Clean the clear part, let it dry and transfer the shapes from the largest to the smallest, because the tip is harder to align. The inner pieces belong on the surfaces that will be visible once the build is complete. Apply the paint in several weak passes and remove the film while the layer is only tacky.
