About product

Eduard 1:48 Avro Anson Mk.I

A set of precisely shaped spray masks from Czech manufacturer Eduard, designed for models of the British multi-role aircraft Avro Anson Mk.I in 1:48 scale. The masks are cut from yellow kabuki (washi) tape, which holds well, follows curved transitions, and leaves no adhesive residue once removed. This is not a paint or a kit, but an aid that significantly speeds up and refines masking.

Use

  • Individual pieces are peeled from the backing and applied to the cockpit and glazing frames, exactly matching the glazing shapes.
  • Open glazing areas are covered with tape or liquid mask, and then the frame color is sprayed.
  • The set usually also includes wheel-hub masks for a clean transition between tire and hub.
  • Once the paint has dried, the masks are carefully peeled off, revealing sharp, straight edges.

Who It Is For

Anyone who wants clean frames on the Anson's glazed cockpit without laboriously peeling tape by hand will appreciate this. It saves time and frustration, especially with this aircraft's intricate glazing.

The masks are neither a paint nor a model; the kit itself and paints are not included in the package.

FAQ

Neither. This is a set of self-adhesive masks for masking the glazing and wheels; the model and paints are purchased separately.

They are shaped for the Avro Anson Mk.I model in 1:48 scale. They fit this aircraft's specific glazing shapes.

Kabuki tape is developed for this purpose, holds well, and generally leaves no adhesive residue or damages the paint once carefully removed.
