A colored, raised 3D-printed interior laid on decal paper from Quinta Studio in 1:48 scale. This set covers the nose and the central and rear compartments of the fuselage of the B-24 Liberator heavy bomber in the D and J variants. It complements the separate pilot's compartment set, and together they cover the interior of the aircraft. It is not an aircraft model but interior equipment.

The real subject

The Consolidated B-24 Liberator was an American heavy four-engined bomber of the Second World War with long range and a large bomb bay. Its roomy fuselage gave space for the navigator, radio operator, bombardier and gunners, so the fit of the individual compartments was rich and busy.

Application and use

• the elements are cut out and transferred onto the interior surfaces as a wet decal; leave out the decal softener, as it would attack the printed resin
• the pre-printed colors and instruments do away with painting the panels
