1:48 B-25G Mitchell in the double-sided form: the set deals with both sides of the greenhouse, not only the upper one. The inner frames are therefore not left in bare transparent plastic.
Responsibility details are not available.
A variant of the set for the Mitchell in the G version, in which the cuts are prepared for both sides of the glazing. The set deals with the reverse as well, so the framing looks right even when you look into the cockpit through the large panes of the greenhouse. On a bomber, where the glazing is extensive and the interior is usually finished out, the difference shows at once.
Installing a massive cannon in the nose called for more than just a different nose shape. The room for the bombardier went, armor was added and the crew grew smaller; working the weapon fell to another crew member, who reloaded it by hand. The rest of the airframe stayed recognizable at first glance: two vertical tail surfaces, a dorsal gun turret and an angular fuselage whose sides carry windows for observation. The machine was used for attacks from low altitude, where the crew looked mainly forward and to the sides, so the cleanness of the glazing matters for the impression a model gives.
Apply the inner cuts before you seat the glazing in the fuselage and spray the shade of the cockpit. Once it has cured, glue the parts in and only then mask the outer side. If you reverse the order, you will no longer reach the back.
