The SPACE set from the manufacturer Eduard in 1:48 scale concentrates on the lining (insulation) of the cockpit and on the armor plates of the B-26F Marauder bomber. It combines color three-dimensional 3D decals with steel photo-etched parts, which gives the interior depth and a realistic texture without the use of resin.
The 3D decals are applied much like wet decals onto a cleaned and preferably smoothly painted surface. The layered structure faithfully imitates the quilted lining of the cabin walls. Leave out the decal softener; it would attack the printed resin of the lining. The set is an ideal accessory for modelers who want to lift the interior quickly and without laborious painting.
This is an accessory for a plastic kit, not a model in its own right. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
