A photo-etched metal set in 1:48 for the model of the American Martin B-26G Marauder medium bomber. The kit is not part of the delivery.
Responsibility details are not available.
The B-26 Marauder was an American twin-engine medium bomber of the Second World War. It had unusually small wings for its time and a smooth cigar-shaped fuselage, which brought it high speed, but also a high landing speed and a reputation as a machine that forgives the crew nothing. Once crews got used to it, it was among the aircraft with the lowest losses. The G version is one of the late production ones, that is one of those the type finished its service with.
Photo-etched metal parts in 1:48. Etching removes the outline from thin sheet metal, so it supplies shapes that would have to be several times thicker in plastic: instrument panels, buckles, grilles, loops and thin rims. On a bomber with a glazed nose and several glazed stations you can see inside from more than one place, so the work pays off. Which kit the set complements and where the parts belong is given in the manufacturer's instructions.
Separate the part by cutting through the tab with a sharp blade on a hard surface and sand the remainder of the tab down. Make the bends along the etched grooves, best in a bending tool, or by pressing against a straight edge, and complete them along the whole length at once. Glue with cyanoacrylate in the amount that fits on the tip of a pin, otherwise the glue is squeezed out into the surroundings and dulls the surface. Before painting, wash and degrease the metal and lay on a primer intended for metal.
The package contains a photo-etched sheet. The kit, paints, glue and decals are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
