This is not a model of the aircraft but a package of accessories for one. LööKplus is the designation used by the Czech manufacturer Eduard for a bundle whose core is a LööK set, a resin instrument panel with color 3D printing backed up by pre-painted steel belts, extended by further resin sets for the same aircraft. Everything is brought together into one package and one price. With Eduard you tell the kind of goods by the designation of the line, and this item belongs exactly among the bundles.
The Bristol Beaufighter was a British twin-engine multirole aircraft with a crew of two, a rugged structure and heavy gun armament concentrated in the forward fuselage. The Mk. VI version used Bristol Hercules radial engines and was sent out in the role of night fighter as well as attack aircraft. The roomy cockpit with its large glazing and the separate station of the second crew member make the interior a visible part of the model, which is the main reason why detail sets pay off on this type.
Wash the resin parts first in lukewarm soapy water to rid them of the remains of the mold release agent, or the paint will not hold on them. Cut the casting blocks off with a saw or a cutting disc, not with pliers, and sand wet and with protection for your airways. They are glued with cyanoacrylate, because ordinary cement for plastic does not hold on resin. Fit the colored instrument panel and the belts into the cockpit before you close the fuselage up and glue the glazing on. Always dry-fit the mating surfaces first.
This is an accessory set, not a kit. The base model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
