1:48 Bf-109E-3 by Eduard is a Big Ed bundle that brings several separate accessory sets for one model of the German fighter together in a single box. It is not a kit but a set of accessories.
Responsibility details are not available.
Big Ed is Eduard's established designation for a package in which several previously separately sold accessories come together in one box. The customer therefore does not have to put the improvements together piece by piece and risk one item being missing. The package does not contain the model of the aircraft, as these are purely accessories for a kit you already have.
Under the same type designation the manufacturer also offers further items: a full photo-etched set for the interior, a smaller pre-painted subset designated Zoom and a separate painting mask for the glazing. Against those this bundle is a summary, not an alternative; its point lies precisely in bringing several such items together in one box, so that nothing is missing when the build starts.
The Emil version represented the peak of the early development of this fighter. An inverted V12 engine gave it a slender nose and good speed, while the angular cockpit and the flat canopy gave it an unmistakable silhouette. It was the Emil that bore the weight of the fighting over France and over the Channel in 1940 and that met its opponent under conditions that its short range made markedly harder.
