Responsibility details are not available.
A set of precisely shaped self-adhesive masks of kabuki tape for the model of the Messerschmitt Bf 109E-3 fighter type in 1:48 scale. The masks make clean spraying of the frames of the glazed cabin and of the wheel discs easier, without laborious cutting. It is not a kit: it is an accessory used while painting a finished or part-built model.
The Messerschmitt Bf 109E, nicknamed Emil, was one of the main German fighters of the late 1930s and the beginning of the Second World War. The E-3 version had an inverted V12 Daimler-Benz DB 601 engine and was committed, among other places, in the fighting over France and in the Battle of Britain.
The pre-cut self-adhesive kabuki masks are stuck onto the cabin glazing and the wheel discs, pressed into the engraved frame lines with a pointed stick and then the area is sprayed. Once the paint has dried, the tape is lifted off and the framing stays clean and sharp. An airbrush gives an even coat; the masks can also be used for two-color camouflage masking.
This is a set of painting masks, not a model. The kit itself, paints and glue are not included in the package and are obtained separately.
