Eduard Bf 109E Weekend 1:48 is a color photo-etched interior set for a model of the German Messerschmitt Bf 109E fighter in 1:48 scale, adapted to the simplified kits of the Weekend edition.
Responsibility details are not available.
A color (pre-painted) photo-etched set from Eduard in 1:48 scale focused on the cockpit interior of the Messerschmitt Bf 109E fighter. The set is conceived for the simplified kits of the Weekend edition, which lack richer detail. It is not an aircraft model but an accessory (a detail set) that adds the instrument panel, the side panels, the seat, the floor and the seat belts.
The Messerschmitt Bf 109E, nicknamed the Emil, was the version of the German fighter used at the start of the Second World War, including the Battle of Britain. It was powered by an inverted V12 Daimler-Benz engine and was notable for its performance and its sturdy structure. The cockpit of the Emil has a typical layout of instruments, which the set matches.
The color parts are pre-painted, so there is no need to paint them. Separate them from the fret with a sharp knife and shape them with tweezers. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue. Fit the instrument panel and the side panels before closing the fuselage up.
The accessory is supplied unassembled. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
