Aires Bf 109G flaps 1:48 - a resin set of landing flaps for a model of the Messerschmitt Bf 109G fighter in 1:48 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin set of landing flaps from Aires. It replaces the flaps of a plastic kit with a more accurate casting that renders the skin and the mechanism finely, and it lets you show them in the lowered position. It is an accessory for more experienced modelers, built into a base model of the Messerschmitt Bf 109G in 1:48 scale.
The Messerschmitt Bf 109 was a German single-seat fighter of the Second World War. The Bf 109G version, nicknamed the Gustav, was the most widespread and was built in a number of forms with a more powerful engine. It is among the most numerously built fighters in history.
First wash the parts to remove any mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and clean up the mating surfaces. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate) and protect your airways while sanding resin. Lay down a primer before painting; lowered flaps reveal the leading edge and the inner structure, which you can bring out with shading.
This is a resin accessory for a kit, not an airplane model. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted; the base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
